We were beginning to go in this direction in the 70s, but we suddenly had to celebrate diversity. Black people who act like Americans are treated like Uncle Toms. Still. I have found that too many black people insist on being treated as black people instead of simply people. Same with Hispanics. The melting pot has disappeared. People think it’s wrong to fit in to our culture, because they think our culture is bad. Our culture is not bad. People have made mistakes and our culture is capable of growth and change. Just don’t tell me that it needs to be thrown away so that we can accommodate other cultures. Morgan Freeman is right.

Yesterday I watched “Invictus” a movie where Morgan Freeman plays the leading character. He incarnates(I don`t know if you can say that in English, in German you can, (verkörpert)) Nelson Mandela. The main point is racism between black and white. He played his part very authentic and I don`t think you can play this roll so authentically how he did, when you don`t believe the words which the actor, in this fall Morgan Freeman, has to say.

I’ve always said separating “black” history into one month was racist. It’s racist against all the other races as well as “black” people. You can’t separate history, it should all be connected.
